Ingredients :
- Basmati Rice – 2 cups
- Sugar – 2 cups
- Green cardamom – 4 pc
- Food color – 1/2 spoon
- Fresh cream -1 cup
- Dry fruit- for garnish
Method :
-Soak the rice in water for 1 hr
-Take a pot and boil the water with color in it
-Now boil the rice till it is done
-Drain the water and keep the rice aside
– Put some ghee in the pot and put the cardamom
-After few seconds put sugar and fresh cream
-Let the sugar melt but not completely
-Then add boiled rice and with help of spoon and mix it slowly
-Close the lid and keep it on the high flame for 7-8 minutes
-Stir it at regular intervals but don’t use spoon
-Now after 7-8 minutes keep the flame on sim for 5 more minutes
-Switch off the flame, do not stir it
-Let it cool down completely
-Put little kewara water and garnish it with dry fruit as per your taste.
Now your delicious Meetha Pulao is ready to be served, Enjoy!!
