Ingredients

Rabri Malpua recipe

Milk -1 lt
Maida-5 spoons
Baking soda-1 pinch
Sugar -1 cup
Water-1 1/2 cups
Ghee-1 cup
Elachi -3 pcs
Dry fruit- For garnishing

Method

-Take a pan and boil the milk until it becomes thick like Rabri
-Then let it cool down completely
-Now put the maida and baking soda in Rabri and mix well
-Leave the batter for 15 minutes
-Meanwhile in an another pot put the sugar and water
-After sugar dissolves completely add elachi powder
-Take a pan add some ghee and pour the batter with the help of spoon to make small round shapes – Fry the Malpua from both the side till it become light golden in color
-Now keep them in warm chasni for 5-10 minutes
-After 15 minutes take them out on a plate and garnish them with dry fruits.

Meetha Pulao

Ingredients :

  • Basmati rice -2 cups
  • Sugar-2 cups
  • Green cardamom- 4 pc
  • Food color (Zafrani)- 1/2 table spoon
  • Fresh cream -1 cup
  • Dry fruit-for garnish

Method :

-soak the rice in water for 1hr
-take a pot and boil the water with colour in it
-now boil the rice till it is done
-drain the water and keep the rice aside

  • put some ghee in the pot and put the cardamom
    -after few seconds put sugar and fresh cream
    -let the sugar melt but not completely
    -then add boiled rice and with help of spoon mix it porperly
    -close the lid and keep the flame high for
    -stir at regular intervals but don’t over use spoon
    -now after 7 to 8 minutes slow down the flame for 5 more minutes
    -switch off the flame and do not stir it
    -let it cool down completely
    -put little kewara water and garnish it with dry fruit.
