Ingredients :
- Basmati rice -2 cups
- Sugar-2 cups
- Green cardamom- 4 pc
- Food color (Zafrani)- 1/2 table spoon
- Fresh cream -1 cup
- Dry fruit-for garnish
Method :
-soak the rice in water for 1hr
-take a pot and boil the water with colour in it
-now boil the rice till it is done
-drain the water and keep the rice aside
- put some ghee in the pot and put the cardamom
-after few seconds put sugar and fresh cream
-let the sugar melt but not completely
-then add boiled rice and with help of spoon mix it porperly
-close the lid and keep the flame high for
-stir at regular intervals but don’t over use spoon
-now after 7 to 8 minutes slow down the flame for 5 more minutes
-switch off the flame and do not stir it
-let it cool down completely
-put little kewara water and garnish it with dry fruit.
Your delicious Meetha Pulao is ready to be served.
